Chaz had the beauty of her last friday period free. It was a beauty because her busy week was finished early and a curse because she had to go home to her husband of seven years. However today she was being delayed. Chaz had lost her wedding band. As of late she had been losing weight and it seemed to have slipped off her finger.
If she was to go home without it she knew it would be hell. In the staff room Charlize was on her hands and knees searching, muttering to herself. Her stomach was in nervous knots as she got no further with her search. Great. New job and she was going to have her other half tell her to leave it because of her lack of focus on keeping her wedding band on her finger.

sully sighed in relaxation as he reached the staff room. he had finished his last class of the day. he walked in to see his newest co-worker on her hands and knees looking for something. "hello, chalrize correct?" sully asked. he wondered what she was looking for. "can i help you look for something?" he asked her after.

Chaz jumped as she heard a voice. She was always jumpy around new people and especially males. "Yes I'm Charlize." she said with a small nervous smile. "Um I... I lost my wedding ring. It must have slipped off my finger. It's a bit big now." she explained quickly. She didn't want him to think she was a bad person and was the type of girl who lost special things.

sully noticed she was a bit jumpy and smiled. he was a touchy feely sort of guy, not really in a creepy way. he walked over to her and put a hand on her back. "pleasure to meet you. i'm sullavin, but you can call my sully." sully said with a giant smile on his face. she was extremely pretty but unfortuantely she was married. "ok will where did you last see it at? i will help you look for it." he offered. if worse came to worse then he could always conjure it up.

As he came over she began to panic. The hand on her back made her flinch slightly and she soon moved away from it. "It's nice to meet you Sullivan." She believed nick names were for friends and she barely knew him. "Um, I'm almost certain it's in here. Because when I got to my class this morning it wasn't on my finger." Chaz moved past him to keep looking.

sully frowned a little bit when she moved away. he was just trying to be nice to her. however he brushed it off and helped her look anyways. "what does it look like charlize?" he asked. he started looking under cushions and in the smaller places. "wingardium leviosa." sully said flicking his wand. he lifted the couch to see if it was there. "you are a bit thin, maybe you should have it resized when we find it?" he suggested to her.

"It's just a plain gold band." Not of her choice or liking. Daniel had always been a plain man and she had always wondered why she had married him. It had been conveniant. She had believed no one else would take her and he had been her best friend for so many years. "I... I ... I was going to. It's just trying to find the time." By that she didn't mean she was busy. She meant she was kept under lock and key in the house. If she suggested going out he suggested affairs and that was just too much hassle to deal with.

sully listened to the discription of the band. most girls would have gone for something flashy. however to each their own. he searched almost half of the room and hadn't found it. "i'm very sorry charlize but i haven't found it." he gave her a sad look and walked over. he took a coin out of his pocket and looked to the woman. "okay tell me every single detail about the ring." he said. he was the transfiguration professor after all. he pointed his wand and the coin turned into a plain gold band.

Charlize got to her feet almost in tears. She couldn't find it either. There was no way she would be able to find it. Choking back her tears she turned to him. "Honestly it just a plain dull gold band. He doesn't like anything flash." Chaz told him. "I need to go. I'm late. He's going to want to know where I am." Chaz was slowly slipping into full panic mode.

sully offered her the ring and felt bad. "don't worry it won't turn back until I change it back." he said. he put his other hand on her shoulder. "if you husband asked why you were kept up late. tell him a female student need to ask questions about her time of the month." sully offered. "as a man he should drop the subject." sully said. whenever he would question his foster mothers about something as soon as they said the word period he would drop it.

She took the ring from him and slid it onto her finger. It looked like her own and until she found her one Daniel need not know she had even lost it. She listened to his suggestion. It was sweet of him very sweet but she doubted he would believe. "I have to go." Chaz said once again. She stepped away from him. "Thank you for this." She was grateful but had soon dashed out of the staffroom.

sully was glad she took the ring. "good luck sweetie." he said to her. he watched her leave as he sat down on the couch. there was something definitely not right with her. one of his foster mother's had been abused. charlize flinched when he was around or touched her, she paniced easily. her husband was abusing her.
