Meanwhile, a resistance is growing at Hogwarts. Despite being barely old enough to comprehend what's going on, a small group of Gryffindors (lead by James Potter and Sirius Black) are rallying support for the Order of the Phoenix within the castle, partly to boost spirits and partly to combat the band of would-be Death Eaters. Torn most in this situation is Severus Snape, who doesn't want to jeopardize his position amongst his friends, but couldn't bear pushing away the constant companionship of one Lily Evans...
