it was cold. it was always cold. england just had a gloom about it, just like denmark and probably any other city in eastern europe. as soon as autumn began to turn the corner into winter the sky turned pissed and dorothy van gordon could see how it reflected on the faces of everyone around them. with the end of the school day dot was so sick and tired with the depressed expressions on everyones face and all she wanted to do was get away. sadly, getting away was harder then you thought. any wear she went was haunted by the cold or people. you name it, hufflepuff's common room, the kitchens, a supposedly empty corridor filled with snogging students.
the only best idea miss van gordon could come up with is to go to the gardens used by the herbology class. now there were many downside to this idea. a) there were far to many deadly plants in that room. b) there were far to many plants in the room that dorothy didn't even know about and c)there could be another person in the room. the last one scared the poor girl the most because she just wanted to be away.
and not to add it felt like someone was watching her. as if eyes were watching her as she passed across the grounds of old hogwarts. maybe just the age that came with the stones and the huge emerald trees that surrounded it gave the castle an overbearing presence that was nosy and like the peer at anyones out of character deeds. the idea of someone was so bothering to dorothy that she was constantly looking over her shoulder and when she finally got to the greenhouse she had to call out loudly 'who's here!?'
creepily, all she got back was the sound of ruffling leaves. as if someone was trying to hide, or one of the plants was coming to kill her. with a sad cry dorothy made her way to a corner were there was some table space that was cleared off of plants. she sat with her back nicley pressed against the walls of the greenhouse. what can you say? she was paranoid and wanted to see anyone before they saw her. it was going to be hard for dot to get to any point of relaxation but to help she pulled a book out of her bag, brought her legs close to her body and began to read.

rose sighed as she put her cloak on. she knew it was a cold day out today as she walked towards the door of the school. professor longbottom had asked to see her so she could improve her grade. just like her father, she never did well in herbology. pulling her cloak around her as she reached the cold air that was to meet her, rose shivered.
she walked with a slightly fast pace. the cold wind made her not want to walk to fast, but not wanting to walk slowly and be even more cold. it was a lose lose situation for herself. rose passed many student walking inside from the courtyard as she let out a breath. seeing the steam in front of her eyes made her smile. that was the one thing she loved about the cold.
rose finally reached the greenhouses and she was happily greeted by the warmth. taking off her cloak she walked towards the greenhouse she was meant to be in. rose tripped a little bit over a stick and ruffled some leaves. "stupid stick." rose said rolling her eyes. she continued walking without any further disruptions. reaching the proper place she spoke. "hello professor!" rose said with a smile. however when she looked around he was not there. "you have got to be kidding me!" she said with a groan. however a figure caught her attention. "oh hello there." rose said. "have you seen professor longbottom?" she asked confused.
