Zara cringed and shook her head. "That was terrible." How come she had never met him before? Or spoken to him? "Is it comfortable down there?" Zara asked. She hopped off the table and sat cross legged on the floor with him.

Aura looked up at her and grinned. His eyes seemed to glow in the candlelit room. "Quite comfortable, actually." He laughed and nodded before looking up at the ceiling again. "So, dawling. Why chose the hospital ward of all places to hide on such a magnificent night?" Even when jokingly coming up with conversation, Aura couldn't shake the elegance of his voice.

Comfortable... she wasn't so sure but Zara was happy and so made no complaints. "I want to be a healer so the more experience I have the more likely I am to get a study placement." Zara eaplained to him. She ran her hands through her hair. "Why are you going through school all over again? Don't you get bored?" She was curious. She'd never met a vampire before.

Aura laughed as he looked up at the ceiling. Giggling slightly, he sat up. "It's not like you will find someone that will hire an eternal sixteen year old." Aura shrugged and looked up at her. As he looked into her eyes, a smile began to grow across his face. Aura was simply dumbfounded as he let himself get lost in her eyes.

Zara nodde. That was fair enough. It must have been difficult for someone to get a job when they looked no older than 16. "You should go travel or something. It's what I want to do when I finish all the academic stuff. Just travel for a while." She bit her plump bottom lip. She seemed slightly distracted but soon came round to reality again. "Sorry. I got a bit carried away."

Aura laughed, obviously unable to help himself. "Sweetheart, a trip down a flight of stairs does not count as a vacation." Aura laughed and then covered his mouth, finally realizing what he had said.

Zara chuckled. "I know." She couldn't stop smiling. "No I want to go to Venice... See the glass work and gondolas." She shook her head. "Guess we'll have to see what happens first. Passing exams, getting a job, falling in love." Zara stopped and looked to Aura. "Have you ever thought of settling down?" She was beyond curious of his life.

Aura sat up and leaned against the wall. "Venice, huh? That could be fun." His eyes followed hers as best they could until her last question. He took a deep breath and sighed. "I had thought about it at one point."

Zara stayed quiet for a little bit and then said. "Can I ask why it never materialised?" Being with someone was hard. Finding someone that was for keeps was harder. But her had been around for a while. Surely there was someone he had come across.

Aura smiled and shook his head slightly. "I guess it's because I don't feel like putting someone in my... unending perdiciment." Aura shrugged and looked into her eyes again, his own residing on a hazel color. He wanted to settle down, it's just that he couldn't bring himself to turn someone. That was simply out of the question, regardless of how much he wanted the person forever.

His words settled around her and she nodded quietly. "That's very selfless." Zara told him quietly. "What if someone fell in love with you and wanted you to be like you. Would you do that?" Most people by now would have probably stopped with the questions but she felt she needed to carry on to quench her curiosity.

Auraquinn's head cocked to the side. His eyes looked lost for a moment before focusing again. "I don't think I could. Why do you seem so interested in this?" His eyes seemed to smile with the rest of him as Aura finally started to actually relax.

She shook her head. "Sorry. I just feel like it's a shame that you don't get to spend your life with someone you love because you're too kind to do so." It was the sweetest thing she had heard and it made her smile. "You're someone very special Aura." She couldn't deny that. He was definately different to anyone else.

Aura smiled and leaned back on the heels of his hands. A small giggle emerged as he was complimented. "Oh yes. Oh so special." Aura rolled his eyes in a mocking manner, all be it subconsciously.

Leaning over as he rolled his eyes she gently smacked him across the back of his head. "Learn to take the compliments. If you plan on being my friend, you won't get a lot of them." Right now her softer side had shown. In all fairness it was only the both of them. But she had the reputation of an ice bitch and when school was in session she lived up to it well.
