It was a blustery cold weekend but the Hogsmeade weekend had gone ahead. Zara had bundled herself up nice and warm before heading out with Nathan. Having entered Hogsmeade and spent the day together their last stop was Honeyduke's.
As Nathan wandered towards the front of the shop, towards health sweets, Zara stayed towards the back looking through the bizzare arrangements of Bertie Botts, blood pops and chocolate frogs. It had been a decent day all in all but she was looking forward to heading back up to the castle and curling up infront of the fire in the common room.

Auraquinn sat on the roof of the Three Broomsticks, a blood pop hanging from his mouth. It was one thing to be annoyed by people, another to be looking for them. He spotted Zara and a smile grew across his face. "Vile temptress, what hast thou done to me?" He asked himself, dropping into the snow at the building's base.
The door to Honeydukes remained slient as Aura slipped though. His now bright pink hair matched his lavender eyes as he slipped around one of the shelves. He flipped Zara's hair as he passed, a warm looking cloak drug itself across the floor behind him as he wandered towards some of the less favorable items in the shop.

She rummaged through the shelves before she felt someone flip her hair. Zara turned around confused. "Nathan?" However Zara could see him still at the front of the shop. She then turned the other side and saw a pink haired boy and even though she didn't want to a small smile came to her face. "Auraquinn." Zara said.
She walked towards him. "You should try staying one shade. It's easier to recognize you." Zara didn't want to smile but something about him made her want to. And yet the way he had left in the hospital wing had made her feel like he'd gained what he wanted to and left. And for that reason the smile would not show on her face. And her tone was still cold. "Did you want something?"

Aura turned to her and grinned, winking slightly. "Always, but that depends." Auraquinn's finger came up and pressed to her lips lightly. "Are you gonna just let me walk away this time or find a way to keep me around?" Aura winked before going back to looking through the stock displayed on the shelves.
His eyes scanned from item to item, every here and there, he glanced over at the male Zara had entered with. "Heh." He said to himself and grinned. "He looks surprisingly normal." Aura shrugged, convinced he had said that to himself alone.

Zara could feel her cheeks flush with colour when he pressed his fingers against her lips. That flutter of butterflie ran through her stomach again. Something she had yet to feel with Nathan even though they had spent a few days together. "Is there anyways of keeping you around. You seemed all to eager to leave the other night." Zara looked away from him to the floor.
"He is... he has no personality what so ever." Zara sighned.

"Oh, there are ways. The easiest is asking." If Aura could have blushed, he would have. He looked at Zara and smiled, his finger finding the bottom of her chin and lifting her head so his eyes met hers. "I don't know how to explain it, but had you asked me to stay, I wouldn't have thought twice about it."
Aura took in her next comment and sighed, turning his head to look at the other guy. "That sucks. It must be hard to deal with someone so dull." A spark went off in Aura's eyes and his hand found hers. Spinning his cloak off with his free hand, he got it perfectly onto her shoulders. "Let's say we get out of here and brighten up your day a bit."

"I just don't really ask things like that." Zara admitted. It just wasn't her style. In other words it was partial pride and patrially not wanting to get rejected. He brought her head to look at him. Her ice blue eyes met his lavendar ones and the smile broke through.
Zara closed her eyes for a second before opening her eyes again. "I'd have had more fun with a dementor." she mumbled whilst rolling her eyes. Soon Aura's hand was slipped in hers and his cloak was around her shoulders. Another flurry of butterflies as his scent surrounded her. Zara bit his lip at his suggestion. She peered around the shelves to see Nathan in discussion with the cashier. "Come on then. Quick."

Auraquinn laughed. "Dementors? Really?" He looked over at the male she was with and sighed. "Right. No time. This may hurt a bit." Aura's wand slid from his sleeve into his hand and twitched. Moments later, he held her close on top of one of the towers over the bridge back to school. He laughed a bit and kissed her forehead. "Sorry, Doll. Kidnapping doesn't go over well if I get caught."

Zara held onto him and before she knew it they were on the tower. He kissed her head and she smiled. "So how many kidnappings do you do, on average?" Zara was looking up at him with her large blue eyes and a small smile. She was already enjoying herself more with Aura.[/blockqupte]

Aura laughed. "On average? What do I look like? A mass murderer?" Aura giggled a bit before locking his eyes onto hers. "On second thought, please don't answer that." Aura winked and sat down, looking up at her and smiling.

"Weeell," she started. Zara then laughed. As Aura sat down she sat herself next to him. "So what have you been up to since the last time we met?" she asked him. What did he get up to when he wasn't serving detention?

Aura thought for a moment, his eyes focusing on something in the distance. "Let's see," He began, shrugging slightly. Truth be told, he had been a good boy and stuck to his homework and avoiding the radar pretty much, but it wasn't his general idea to stick to something that sounded so mundane. A small grin and he continued. "I convinced a nun to denounce her religion?" Auraquinn simply laughed, knowing that anyone could tell that it was complete bullshit.
Rolling to face her, he simply rested on his side with ease. His eyes began to look her over, taking in every one of her very striking features. His lavender eyes sparkled in the oncoming sunset as he smiled with almost perfect teeth. "Not only do I want to know what you have been up to this past little while, but I would also like to know what you have been thinking about if you don't mind sharing." Aura smiled, absent mindedly tracing small, intricate patterns on her thigh with his left index finger.

Zara couldn't help but laugh. "If that was true Auraquinn, I would be asking to meet said nun." That was something she like about him. His relaxed attitude. Then again, after being around for a while there probably wasn't much to stress about.
Aura turned and she looked at him. His eyes were that soft purple shade again. It was a shade that she like and his ability to change his appearance was something that made him all the more special. "Well, I got very angry at you for just flouncing off after kissing me." Zara admitted to him. "So when Nathan asked me out to Hogsmeade I agreed." Other than that she had done general homework.
His fingers were tracing patterns on her thigh and it tickled slightly. "And thinking... well I've been thinking of you." Her voice was very quiet and she was looking out over the tower and onto the horizon where the sun was slowly sinking.

Aura laughed, ignoring everything else. His violet eyes looked over at her cheek as his lips calmed slightly. "I flounced off? What the hell, Zara? I live like, what? Twenty feet from you?"

Zara looked at him. "Aura...." She was becoming slightly irritated now. "Ugh, forget it." She just shook her head before sighing.
