Dinner Research [Open]

The day's last classes had just let out and students were rushing off to the Great Hall for dinner. Electra however had no appetite after her Charms class. Breaking away from the gaggle of students Electra made her way into the library.

The was an overwhelming sense of peace in here. Something she had not felt all day. She generally got along with her housemates but at times they were just too much for her to cope with. The female Slytherin like to have her alone time with the company of only one or two. It was the way she had been since she was six years old. Stick rather close to her brother. Only today El wasn't too sure where he was.

Taking in a deep breath the smell of the old parchment hit her and a small smile spread across her face. She slipped in between an aisle of history book and picked one out before sitting down. The book was nothing special. Not to anyone else. But to Electra and her twin it was a key. History books on the final battle meant everything. It meant knowledge and experience. And if anyone else asked what she was doing it was easy enough to say revising for History Of Magic.

bellatrix finished her dinner extremely early. then again all she had was a salad. not knowing what to do she got up and figured she would start her homework for the day. making her way to the library for some books bella started thinking to herself. lost in her thoughts she walked into the library.

she went down an aisle to get a book and came back out. trixie looked around the entire library and found no one. except for electra, she was the only on there. she seemed very into her book so bellatrix walked over and set her book down. "hello electra. do you mind if i sit here?"

Electra only looked up when she heard the voice. Standing near her was the youngest Malfoy child. Electra had taken up some particular interest in the Malfoy family. They were related and although she knew she wasn't sure the blonde did. Not one to be rude she said, "Hello Bellatrix. I don't mind at all. I'm surprised you aren't at dinner with the rest." Electra brushed hair behind her ear. Making a not of the page she leaned back in the chair.

After a few moments she said, "Bellatrix... That's a rather interesting name..." She rolled the quill in her fingers looking disinterested. If there was anything she had picked up of her father and in particular her grandfather it was the ability to look completely disinsterested and be subtle when searching for things.

bellatrix smiled and took a seat. "well i was at dinner," trixie started. "however, i wasn't very hungry so all i ate was a salad." she said with a slight shrug of her slender shoulders. bella opened her book and looked back at el when she commented on her name.

"yes my grandmother insisted i be named after her late sister. her name was bellatrix lestrange." she said with a smile. "silly me. i'm sure you already know who she is." trixie said with a smirk. there weren't very many people who didn't know who her family was. that's how she got a lot of respect in the house and among the school was because of the woman she was named after. "did you grandparents know her?" bella asked the girl in front of her with a smile.

Electra dipped her quill in the ink and idly doodled across the scarp partchment infront of her. Her dark eyes flicked up to catch the smirk on Bellatrix's face. "Well of course. There aren't many who don't know of the Bellatrix Lestrange." Of couse she knew of her. A whole line of her family branching off from the Lestrange's and Black's. It had taken her months to piece everything together. Endless nights in the restricted section until she had her answers.

"My grandparents? Yes, you can say they knew her very well indeed." There was a smirk across her face. "Do you think it was such a smart idea for her to get involved in the dark arts like she did?" El asked Bellatrix. This answer would allow her to see whether she should divuldge her bloodline to the Malfoy or not.

bellatrix smiled when she said that her aunt was known. at the answer to the question of her grandparents knowing bellatrix she saw the girl's smirk. "i'm assuming they knew her better than i know?" she said eyeing her mouth. that caused trixie to smirk as well.

"of course it was!" trixie said. "it got her power. everyone knows her name and what she believed in." she said with passion. "she went down in the history books." bella said pointing to the book in front of electra. "for anyone to ever say she shouldn't have should be put to death." trixie said.

Electra's smirk turn to a small twisted smile. Perfect. It was always good to see that family was passionate about the same things. "I'm glad my grandmother impressed you so much." Electra said silkily. "It's funny how you can have family sitting right next to you and not even know it."

bellatrix's smirk fell from her face. "...what?!" trixie asked loudly. the librarian sshhed her but bella just rolled her eyes at the lady. "so we're cousins?" she asked. a smiled spread across her face as she realized there was another girl in her family. "oh my gosh!" she said.

"how long have you known?" bella asked. she started thinking to herself about something and her smile fell. "surely grandmother cissa knew her own sister was pregnant. why hadn't you grown up with me?" trixie asked? why would her own aunt let the girl in front of her be orphaned. "who is your granfather?" bella asked curious to know. "i know it wasn't rudolphus. auntie bella hated him apparantly." trixie said.

Her eyes shot over to the librarian and narrowed. That woman had nothing better to do than take her job all too seriously. "Yes I belive that does make us cousins." By the looks of it Bellatrix was a excited and that did not surprise her. There seemed to be a stunning lack of females along the family line.

With a slight shrug she said, "I've known a while... Pieced everything together very carefully." It was true. Extensive weekends and holidays of finding out about their past and who their family really was. "Rudolpus." Electra scoffed. "I believe my grandfather went by the name of Tom Riddle..." It was a whisper that hung in the air.

Taking a closer look at Electra and her twin it was easier to see. They had the features and mannerisms of a Riddle. But he was believed to leave no heir so who would even have it cross their mind.

when bellatrix heard who electra's granfather is, her eyes widened and she went over to sit next to her cousin. "i live to serve you dear cousin." trixie said with a whisper, and bow of her head. her new found cousin was a decendant of the dark lord. such power ran through her family it was exquisit. just sitting next to her cousin she could feel the power.

she wondered if this was how her aunt bellatrix felt when next to the dark lord. feeling like everything was possible when next to him. she picked pu her cousin's hand and placed a gentle kiss on her knuckles. "whatever you ask of me cousin i will do." she said again with a whisper. trixie wanted her cousin to know that she would do anything and everything she was asked of.

There was a feeling of calm and relief that took over her when she saw Bellatrix's reaction. It was difficult to know who to trust and where to start. "That's good to hear Bellatrix." Electra said. It had probably been a long time since the Riddle name was spoken without the shame of being defeated. She and Dreavyn were not going to let it continue like that. Not anymore.

Bellatrix kissed her knuckles and she gave a soft smile at the girl. "For now I don't want to breathe a word of this to anyone. Not until I know who we can trust and who not to. Sometimes Bellatrix, even family can betray you." Electra spoke quietly and calmly. A silent warning in her voice to the younger girl to take heed. From what she knew her grandmother had been quite rash in her decisions and she was goin to make sure things were calm this time round.

bellatrix listened to her cousin and with a smile she shook her head. "of course i will not speak a word." she said. she wanted to ask a question but wasn't too sure as to whether or not it would be answered. "so my brother and parents do not know correct?" trixie asked. she wanted to be sure in order to keep her promise to her cousin.

"where is your brother, and my other cousin?" she asked. bellatrix hadn't seen him in a while. "perhaps the next time i see him i will quietly make my sentiments towards him known as well." bellatrix added. she knew that her name was one of power already. however now it was worth even more, having a riddle in her family.

"As far as I know Bellatrix, you're parents and your brother know nothing. I assume Narcissa knew." Electra's eyes glazed over as she was deep in though. Her life was a twisted one. So much unexplained and so much power. Power she was certain she was ready to take on. And so was Dreavyn. She was sure of it.

Bellatrix's voice brought her back to the present. "I'm not to sure where Dreavyn is." Electra answered honestly. She was worried. If there was one person on the Earth she trusted with her life it was her twin. So when she didn't see him for a while it was like she had lost a bit of herself.

bellatrix nodded her head to show she wouldn't say a word. "but if grandmother cissa knew of you. then why didn't she take in your father?" she asked in wonder. she noticed the look on her cousins face and she wondered what she was thinking. "it's so amazing to know that you are my cousin. i finally have another woman in the family." she said with a smile.

"From what I have pieced together she isn't the most loyal of people." Electra said slightly sharply. It had always bugged her that their family had not stepped in but then again she and Drae had grown up not having to rely upon each other. They had become independant. "It's nice to know I have family at all." Electra said to her. Female or male. It didn't bother her.
