Zara sat on the counter of their apothecary shop, idly stirring a potion in a cauldron that had a vague gold colour at the moment. The weekends were usually her own to do as she pleased but when Jason had orders to fill and she was lacking in ingredients to do so at school, Knockturn alley and the apothecary played host to home.
Of course the potion making wasn't above board. Nothing she brewed was Ministry approved. If it was the value would have been a lot less. If it was they'd have been a respectable business belonging on Diagon alley. But they weren't. A sixteen year old tampering with potions was not going to be approved by the ministry and she didn't even want to attempt the fuss of it.
After stirring it nine time clockwise and once anti clockwise Zara took the spoon out and stared out the window swinging her legs. Jason had gone to his supplier to stock up and so she was looking after the shop. It was fairly busy usually but for now there was peace and she was hoping it would stay like that.

Aura sat on the roof of the Leaky Cauldron, on a mid 1990s Japanese motorcycle. He looked over at a long time friend and laughed. "So, Richard, what you're saying is that if I land this in the Alley and make it to Knockturn, you'll give me ten grand?" Aura laughed and fired up the bike. It was light to him.
The back tire slid back and forth on the shingles, causing an eerie blue smoke to arise from the back tire. It wasn't long before Aura hit the cobblestone and was off like a torrent. Weaving between patrons, Aura almost missed the turn. Almost losing the bike completely, Aura slid around the corner and dodged yet another person. It was emptier here, but he was already losing control. Instead of risking the wreckage, He slid the bike to a stop on it's single front tire.
The back tire would drop to the ground as he looked inside the Apothecary. Listening to the Vampiric complaints above, Aura laughed. His hand raised as the wad of cash fell into it. Auraquinn would lean back onto the seat as he unbanded the cash and began to count it. It wasn't much to make from a bet, but he now had to make sure it was all there before figuring out how to get a non-magical item from the magical world.

There was am umfamiliar noise that had come to Zara's ears. A rumbling that soon turned to more of a revving and the frame of a motorcycle stopped outside the shop. The back tyre dropping against the ground caused the ground to tremble slightly and for th cauldron next to her to wobble unstably. Zara's blue eyes widened as it almost tipped over. She grabbed it quickly stifling a scream at the pain. Setting it back down and settling into a foul mood she go off the counter and to the door.
Opening the door she looked at the guy on the bike. "If you don't mind could you kindly go be a prick somewhere else?" Zara hissed at him. She glanced down at her hands that were slowly blistering from the heat she had just touched to save her hard work. A few spells would clear it up in no time but until he cleared off she would not be happy.

Aura's head snapped upwards as he was yelled at. His finger flicked the key into the off position as he stuffed the new found funding into his pocket. A small laugh and he looked into her eyes, his currently a liquid chocolate color. "Well, you're a prissy little one." A wink and a tap of his wand and the bike was gone.
Landing softly on his feet, he smiled towards the girl again. Pulling his hand from his pocket where his wand was cased, he cocked his head to the side. "Quite a nasty little burn there." It was easy to tell that Aura was amused by this. His hands went up behind his head where his fingers intertwined with one another. "Well, are you going to invite me in or do I have to go poking around myself?" The teasing tone weighed heavily on the male's voice as he watched the girl before him, for a second staring into her eyes as if trying to find something.

"I am not prissy." she continued to hiss at him. Not that she cared what he thought. She scoffed as he winked at her. Zara stuffed her hands in her pockets and winced at the pain. It was none of his business about her burns. "Your fault by the way."
Zara stood there with her jaw clenched as he spoke to her. "If you're coming in you better buy something." She turned on her heels and walked back in to see her potion cauldron had leaping golden drops. She grinned knowing it was ready. She collected a box of vials from the back of the shop before bringing them through to the front again.

Aura couldn't help but laugh, his eyes turning to a solid emerald color. Shaking his head, he cut a glance at the girl before him. That was all she was to him, A girl. He figured she couldn't be older than 16, which meant he had at least forty years on her. Forty years wasn't much to Aura as he was trapped at somewhere around sixteen himself. Permanently.
His eyes went to a liquid sapphire as he looked over Zara again, taking in her features. "Well, love. Do enlighten me with how this is my fault. I really would love to know." Aura smiled and winked as he walked around her and started poking around inside the shop. His eyes darted from one potion to another, taking in the unusual potions before him.
Unusual was an odd word to describe what was before him. He sighed as he didn't see what he was looking for. With a shrug he walked over and set down a list of potions, Felix was at the top of the list. "Well, since I am here, I might as well order these." Leaving the list on the counter, Aura went back to poking around the shop. Here and there he would brush something the wrong way and watch something fall though the shattering noise that usually followed never came as he absentmindedly caught what fell and put it back.

Enlighten him on how it was his fault. Zara was carefully ladelling the lucky potion into her vial. "If you hadn't landed like some oaf outside the shop which made my cauldron almost fall then I wouldn't have had to catch it and burn myself." As she said it the pain was starting to bug her. She had gone through burns before so it wasn't like she was bothered by that. It was the fact he had almost ruined her hard work. Taking her wand she uttered a few words and let the cooling sensation run through them.
Zara watched as he placed the list on the counter. As she filled vials of the Felix she said, "I know for a fact we don't have some of these but I can brew them for you if need be." Zara would have liked to tell him where to go simply for the fact she was in a bad mood but this was not her business. It was her brothers and so she bit her tongue.

Aura continued looking around, his eyes scanning over the various potions as he moved. He stopped and turned towards the girl and sighed. Shaking his head, he made his way back to the counter almost instantly. Gliding across the ground and bending almost like liquid to avoid touching anything as he neared.
He would lean on the counter and look into her eyes. A small smile began to form on his face as he thought of how to word what would come next. "Are you always like this towards customers or am I just that special?" The words came out in a manner that sounded like an angelic harp being played in the distance. Low and smooth, yet fluid as if he were breathing at the same time.

Zara watched as he was soon back at the counter and she put the vials to one side. He was leaning on the counter and Zara stood opposite leaning on it also. She noticed the colour of his eyes as he stared into her. A sapphire colour. Darker than her own blue orbs and a lot deeper. His words brought a small smirk to her face. "You'd like to think that you are special. But sorry to burst your bubble sweetheart, I'm like this with everyone." Zara straightened up and picked up a vial of Felix.
"I'll give it to you though. I haven't met someone who is willing to give as much lip as they are given from me." Even though he irritated her by a mile even though they had only just met she was impressed by the spark in him.
